This large-format black-and-white fine art series brings together some of the themes and images that have always drawn me in: the desert, women, stories of the Wild West, solitude, and surrealism.

The landscape serves as an open stage on which isolated characters, animals, and impossible elements construct a deliberately ambiguous narrative. References such as Moebius, the classic Western, and cinematic aesthetics are filtered through my own style.

To create the images, I used photographs of female models from previous photo shoots and reconstructed them through editing and photomontage until they became scenes from an imagined Western.

An imaginary Western constructed from memories, references, and fragments from my own photo archive.
