"Fire and Memory " is a black-and-white fine art series created using authentic objects from Maasai culture and fire as an element of transformation.
Photographed in a studio against a black background, the objects lose some of their everyday function and take on a new dimension— somewhere between the ritual, the symbolic, and the ancestral.
The series reflects on cultural memory and on what remains when objects change context. Fire appears as a force capable of transforming matter, but also as a metaphor for continuity, identity, and resilience.
Everyday objects transformed into symbols through light, darkness, and fire.
